Witness young musicians take centre stage in the 2017 SOTA Concerto Concert, where winners of the annual SOTA Concerto Competition join forces with the Orchestra of the Music Makers in an explosive evening of a diverse range of works.

Two of the most popular violin concertos ever written are performed: Virtuosic fireworks abound in both the first movement of Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto, and the richly rhapsodic finale of Bruch’s First Violin Concerto, and wander along with the soloist in the exquisite melodies of Vaughan Williams’ “Songs of Travel”.

Under the baton of Kiwi conductor Ray Chan, the orchestra will also perform Beethoven’s exuberant Seventh Symphony. This blossoming of Singapore’s brightest young stars is certainly an occasion not to be missed.
